Dear Readers,

Last weekend was spent in decadence, meaning I went to London. There are no words to describe this city, it is not beautiful like Paris, majestic like Stockholm or charming like Florence. London has an edge, it is raw, buzzing urbanity under an impermeable grey sky. But around each random cornder, there can be spots of great beauty.

Coming back to the outfit. Since camel is the new black, which is basically my favourite colour, I decided that London was the right place to try and see whether I could actually wear it (the outfit as proof of my verdict).

Something very simple, just a sheer blouse and black pants. But there are days when everything seems too much and focussing on the essential is everything. Alas, a lot of time has passed since my last post. I didn't really have any inspiration and all the pretty clothes in my wardrobe looked boring to me. There is such an overflow of glittery dresses displayed in the stores of my dull little hometown that my eyes started to hurt. But I found this specimen (the dress, not the frog) at H&M and must say I really like it. Just enough glamour to tone down with a cosy sweater. Next Thursday I'm off to my favourite metropolis of all time, guess where...

Dear Readers

I have been featured in the online magazine hypeed (again, yay!) with my preppy look. Here I just threw together some old pieces from my wardrobe and one of my favourite skirts in order to put something Blair-Waldorfish together. Berets are a classic piece of clothing and I have been wearing them since kindergarten (no kidding, I was pushed around because of it :-)).
